Overview
The Pennsylvania State University's Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications has an opening for a Public Relations teaching faculty position. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor. This is a non-tenure track, multi-year appointment in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, slated to begin in Spring 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach core courses like public relations principles, strategies, and campaigns.
- Teach specialized topics such as crisis communication, and/or digital media.
- Advise students and provide service to the university and wider community.
- Bring valuable professional experience from the strategic communications field.
Qualifications
- A master\'s degree or higher must be earned by the time of appointment.
