Position Overview

We’re seeking a versatile individual with strong skills in social media ideation, creation & management, photography, videography and editing. This individual will create engaging, on-brand content for our social media platforms while supporting our events and promotional initiatives. This role will be a key contributor to elevating our brand across existing and new social media platforms as well as act as a mouthpiece to top of funnel exposure to new customers.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the Playbook: Daily Posting! Develop, curate, and publish engaging content on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X & TikTok
• Know the Space: Stay up to date with the latest trends on social media platforms and incorporate them into content to maintain engagement and relevance.
• With the Times: Keep up with news across the sports card, TCG and collectibles landscape. Come up with creative ideas to tie content into industry news.
• Stay Relevant: Proficient knowledge of sports cards and TCGs like Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and One Piece.
• Master Engager: Build the ultimate sense of community across our channels. Monitor social media interactions, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and build relationships with followers to strengthen engagement.
• Walk the Show Floor: Attend events (in-shop and external) to capture high-quality photos and videos. Edit and enhance content for social media use.
• Make Us Feel Alive: Provide live coverage of key events, including behind-the-scenes content, event highlights, and real-time social media updates.
• Break New Barriers: Develop visually appealing content that resonates with our target and potential new audiences and helps promote upcoming events, products, or services.
• Live By the Book: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a content calendar that supports business objectives, seasonal promotions, and event timelines.
• Create Numbers That Don’t Lie: Track and analyze performance metrics for social media posts and campaigns, providing reporting & recommendations for optimization based on data insights.
• Create & Innovate: Contribute to the overall creative direction of social media content, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms. Proactively produce new content concepts, formats, and strategies to keep content fresh and engaging.

Who We’re Looking For

• Been There Before: 1 - 3 years of content creation, and social media management experience.
• Tech Pro: Strong proficiency in photography and videography, with a solid understanding of editing software.
• The Consummate Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling captions and other forms of content that engage and inform the audience.
• The Data Diver: Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Facebook Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.) to track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• A Plate Juggler: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Always Thinking: A creative mindset with a passion for staying on top of social media trends and emerging technologies.
• Doesn’t Miss A Thing: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all content is high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for various social media platforms.
