Americaneagle.com is looking for a strategic and versatile Creative Content Specialist with a pulse on current events and media trends to help our clients and prospects make informed decisions about the digital solutions Americaneagle.com offers, with a focus on sales-based collateral, SEO-driven content, and thought leadership materials. The Creative Content Specialist will be the driving force behind Americaneagle.com’s content initiatives, developing effective messaging for multiple channels. This highly creative and driven individual must be extremely collaborative and flexible to meet the demands of an ever-changing industry and fast-paced environment. This position will work with all members of the Marketing & Sales team to produce original content.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the overall content strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with marketing and business objectives
  • Work with internal platform teams to develop creative and compelling messaging for use by the sales and marketing teams both internally and externally
  • Write for various channels (i.e. email, social, blog, direct mail, web pages, advertisements, white papers, case studies, info sheets, etc.)
  • Oversee review process for all blog posts and manage the blog editorial calendar to ensure consistent, high-quality content publication
  • Plan new and engaging pieces of content by analyzing needs and keeping abreast of industry news
  • Develop SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and supports conversion goals
  • Write and coordinate submission of press releases to maintain company visibility and announce key developments
  • Interview internal team members and clients to create case studies, testimonials, informational sheets, whitepapers, blogs, and more; identify successful content and map out new ways to repurpose to amplify the message, increase visibility, and accelerate lead generation
  • Proof content and collateral for accuracy, including spelling, grammar, and product/service information
  • Participate in creative discussions with the marketing and sales team to determine necessary content for collateral and fulfillment of marketing requests from other departments
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on existing content, contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions and offer suggestions for improving campaigns, procedures, and other business-related activity
  • Monitor content performance metrics and optimize based on data-driven insights

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English or related field
  • 4+ years of professional writing experience, preferably in an agency or technology environment
  • Experience writing copy for a mid-market to enterprise audience is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting attention-grabbing headlines and compelling sales copy that drives conversions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Photoshop and Illustrator skills are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and creative concept skills with ability to work independently and within a team
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic environment with minimal direction
  • Good eye for layout and design of content pieces is a plus
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Experience writing for a variety of communication channels and audiences with an understanding of SEO best practices and experience implementing them
  • Ability to be comfortable on video and convey tips, best practices, and concepts both in writing and verbally
  • Able to quickly grasp technical topics and stay ahead of relevant industry knowledge

The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $60,000-$80,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
