Overview

Our client is a leading private credit investment firm specializing in providing flexible financing solutions to middle-market companies. They are seeking a Senior Associate, Content Marketing to join the marketing and communications team. This individual will play a key role in shaping and executing content strategy to raise brand awareness, support capital raising initiatives, and highlight the firm’s expertise in private credit. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and storyteller with experience developing content for financial services audiences, including institutional investors, consultants, and industry partners.

Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Write, edit, and produce high-quality marketing materials including thought leadership articles, white papers, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and case studies tailored to private credit and institutional investing audiences.
  • Marketing Collateral: Support the creation and refinement of pitch books, investor decks, fact sheets, and product materials in collaboration with investment and investor relations teams.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage content strategy across digital channels (website, email, LinkedIn, other social platforms) to engage target audiences and enhance brand visibility.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to support fundraising, product launches, and firmwide initiatives.
  • Research & Insights: Partner with investment professionals to translate complex investment strategies and market insights into clear, engaging content for external audiences.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure messaging aligns with the firm’s brand, values, and regulatory standards.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Track engagement metrics and provide insights to improve effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or financial writing, preferably within private credit, private equity, asset management, or broader financial services.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex investment topics for different audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of institutional investment landscape and familiarity with private credit strategies (direct lending, structured credit, mezzanine, etc.).
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior executives and investment professionals.
