About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Creative Supervisor to help oversee our growing creative department at a leading consumer electronics company. This individual will supervise a team of 20–25 designers and writers, providing strong creative direction across both art and copy disciplines. A strong art and copy background are needed. The Creative Supervisor will play a pivotal role in guiding the development of innovative consumer retail packaging, displays, online listings (PDPs), websites, social content, videos and other marketing materials. Acting as the creative right-hand to the Chief Creative Officer (CCO), this individual will review, approve, and elevate creative output in the CCO’s absence, while collaborating cross-functionally on new products, brands, and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Help lead, mentor, and inspire the creative department.
- Provide hands-on direction and constructive feedback on both art and copy.
- Oversee the development of consumer product packaging, retail displays, and digital creative assets.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Creative Officer, stepping in to approve work as needed.
- Partner with the Sales, Production, and Product Development teams on new product/brand launches, rebrands, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure all creative output is aligned with brand standards and supports business objectives.
- Stay current with retail, e-commerce, and design trends to drive innovation.
- Maintain a high standard of creative excellence across in-store and digital channels.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within consumer product or retail industries.
- Proven expertise in both art direction and copywriting.
- Exceptionally strong portfolio showcasing packaging, retail displays, and digital creative work.
- Experience managing large creative teams (15+).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance creative vision with business goals.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly skilled with Adobe Suite
