About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Creative Operations Manager to join the Brand team. This individual will manage and optimize creative workflows across digital design, copywriting, and multimedia deliverables. The role balances strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, focusing on operational efficiency and high-quality, high-volume creative output. The Creative Operations Manager will streamline intake, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality creative output aligned with business goals, leveraging data and emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance throughput. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring you to work from our San Francisco office 3 days per week.
Impact You'll Own
- Project & Workflow Management
Own end-to-end project lifecycle for all creative assets (digital, social, web, video, and special projects). Lead scoping, timelines, and milestone tracking for high-volume work. Build and optimize intake systems and workflows, identify bottlenecks, and translate ambiguous requests into clear plans. - Resource & Capacity Planning
Collaborate with creative leads to allocate resources, monitor workloads, and adjust in real time to meet deadlines. Ensure teams have tools and support, and identify opportunities for process improvements and technology adoption. - Cross-Functional Communication & Stakeholder Management
Act as the central point of contact for Marketing, Product, Leadership, and external partners. Lead meetings and translate feedback into actionable steps for creatives, balancing stakeholder expectations with the creative team's needs. - Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Continuously analyze and improve production processes, document workflows and best practices, and partner with Brand Ops leadership on the strategic evolution of the creative team. - Measurement & Reporting
Track project performance and output, surface insights for planning, and use data to drive decisions. Support budget planning with contractors and agencies.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in creative project management or operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Experience managing global/distributed teams and cross-functional collaboration with design, copy, product marketing, and vendors
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, JIRA) and resource planning platforms; ability to evaluate and implement new technologies
- Strong understanding of creative development best practices, file types, media specs, and production requirements
What Makes You Stand Out
- Proven success managing digital campaigns across web, mobile, social, and video
- Agency or in-house brand experience; experience with Earth Observation/space companies
- Tech-savvy with strong Excel skills; able to learn new platforms quickly; familiarity with AI tools a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to translate complex processes into clear terms
- Experience developing briefs, production timelines, and campaign roadmaps
- Comfort with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines
- Metrics-driven with experience using data to optimize throughput and impact

Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time role at start is listed below. Final salary is determined by experience, skills and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentives. San Francisco Salary Range: $90,200—$112,700 USD.
