Surface Experts of Northeast Philadelphia is hiring a Surface Experts Technician. This role involves performing small surface repairs to various hard surfaces using spot-repair techniques. The position emphasizes hands-on work, color matching, and customer interaction.

Compensation

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr. This range is provided by Surface Experts of Northeast Philadelphia. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4+ on-site surface repairs per day (counters, tubs, cabinets, floors, and more)
• Work across settings such as apartments, hotels, homes, and construction sites
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Track repair progress in our online platform
• Communicate with the support team as needed
• Follow proven repair processes
• Use creativity and artistic skill to color-match and blend repairs seamlessly

Qualifications & Ideal Background

• Hands-on experience with manual or creative work
• Ability to see, identify, and replicate color accurately (colorblind not suitable)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to learn a new skill (expect ~2 years minimum)
• Experience in painting, sculpting, woodworking, resurfacing, construction, or related hands-on work is a plus
