Vinyl / Vehicle Graphics / Wrap Installer

FASTSIGNS of Kingston is hiring an experienced vehicle wrap installer to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The right candidate will have at least one year of experience installing vinyl, vehicle graphics, and wraps. This position covers all aspects of installation of vehicle graphics and wraps as well as sign production and assembly. Complete wrap experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to install computer-generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on vehicles, including using the plotter/cutter to make the graphics.
• Prepare vehicles for vinyl application (washing, cleaning, and applying tape primer).
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images.
• Perform quality assurance pre- and post-production by reading and interpreting work orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
• Install full vehicle graphic wraps, vinyl lettering, and related graphic applications on all types of vehicles, including fleet graphics, truck sides, and windows.
• Build graphics, including window stickers, banners, and mesh banners.
• Handle digital graphics, including indoor wall graphics and billboards.
• Travel to installation sites as needed.
• Demonstrate willingness to assume responsibility and work independently.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience installing vinyl, vehicle graphics, and wraps (wrap experience preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; excellent driving record.
• Ability to travel to different installation sites as needed.

Physical Demands

Typical physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, and kneel for long periods; lift 50 pounds or more; lean over a waist-high table; work under pressure; use light power equipment; work on ladders; and remove lights, trim, and mirrors from vehicles.
