Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide for online Adobe Illustrator tutoring. You’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and teach from home.

Pay

Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $40.00/hr. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You can earn up to $40/hour with the same student as you build ongoing sessions. You’ll be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Provide personalized instruction and adapt to individual student needs.
• Be matched with students whose learning style best fits your teaching approach.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Handle invoicing; the platform processes payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching and graduate-level education are preferred.
