Position: Account Specialist
The Account Specialist position is a remote, work-from-home role. Acceleration Partners operates with a remote-first culture. Some travel may be required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events.
The Role
As an Account Specialist, you will provide white glove service to diverse brands investing in influencer marketing campaigns. This role focuses on campaign execution, including influencer recruitment, managing partnerships, and owning campaign deliverables, tracking, and reporting. The Account Specialist will analyze campaign performance, identify success areas and challenges, and proactively implement strategic measures to optimize programs toward goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will have experience developing and managing KPI-driven influencer marketing campaigns for consumer products and/or services companies. They will have working knowledge of the partner marketing landscape, including affiliate marketing, and the ability to develop comprehensive strategy as well as execute. The candidate should be a self-starter who can adapt to challenging situations, balance competing priorities, and work effectively in an intrapreneurial environment. This person will also have a history of building relationships, collaborating with peers, and leading through influence.
You’ll work closely with your manager and peers to maximize program effectiveness and create opportunities for growth.
Top 5 Responsibilities
- INFLUENCER RECRUITMENT, NEGOTIATING & ONBOARDING – Source partnership opportunities, create influencer casting lists, vet opportunities for brand alignment and relevance, conduct outreach to approved partners, negotiate when needed, and support influencer onboarding with resources to streamline processes.
- INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT – Craft program-wide influencer communications and resources, guide influencers on content strategy, develop timelines, ensure adherence to schedules, collect content drafts, lead content reviews to ensure FTC compliance, and adjust content strategy as needed to optimize performance.
- AUDITING, REPORTING & ANALYSIS – Audit program content for FTC compliance and brand guidelines, track content and share insights with clients, analyze campaigns using social analytics and conversion metrics, and provide actionable recommendations supported by data.
- CLIENT SERVICE & COMMUNICATION – Deliver superior client service, escalate risks as appropriate, build trust through accurate client outputs and communications, and nurture strong client relationships to promote satisfaction and retention.
- PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT – Manage client tasks with minimal supervision, prioritize across campaigns, understand each client’s scope of work, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
What Success Looks Like
BY 3 MONTHS:
- Contribute across a portfolio of influencer programs, ensuring alignment with campaign strategy.
- Collaborate with key client contacts to ensure brand alignment with recruitment and content creation.
- Become familiar with AP tools and solutions to conduct casting, execute content timelines, audit content, and track performance.
BY 6 MONTHS:
- Own day-to-day execution of multiple influencer programs with limited guidance, including reporting, applications processing, recruitment and casting, and partner communications.
- Manage challenging situations with guidance from managers and directors, adopting a solutions-oriented approach.
- Regularly analyze client data and leverage insights to optimize campaigns.
- Service client accounts effectively and profitably, meeting AP targets and client KPIs with high client satisfaction.
- Present new campaign ideas to managers and demonstrate program performance understanding.
BY 1 YEAR:
- Troubleshoot and resolve account and creator issues independently, providing insights and recommendations.
- Be an integral part of each program, developing ideas and improving processes to create efficiencies.
- Take on new account responsibilities with support from your manager and contribute as a team thought leader.

Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years in influencer marketing agency roles with experience executing influencer campaigns and managing client/influencer relationships
- Solid understanding of omni-channel and digital marketing; track record in influencer campaigns for consumer brands
- Excellent at communicating, presenting, and obtaining client approvals
- Working knowledge of digital marketing attribution
- Understanding of how influencer and affiliate marketing can work together
- Experience with tools (CreatorIQ, Grin, Izea, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of Affiliate Networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, ShareASale, CJ, etc.) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis

- Target Salary is $55,000 - $60,000 depending on location and experience
