The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online CLEP English Literature tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online CLEP English Literature tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in CLEP English Literature and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Scheduling

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40/hour with continuity with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week; you invoice for sessions and we handle payments.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support and engagement features to save prep time.
