The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students nationwide for online AP English Literature and Composition tutoring. As a tutor, you can set your schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students’ learning journeys from home.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in AP English Literature and Composition with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Logistics

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform.
• We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we take care of payments.
