Manager, Media Operations – Campaign Management (Amazon)

New York / Los Angeles

Position Overview

The Manager, Media Operations (Campaign Management) is accountable for supporting the transformation of how OMG’s global accounts achieve operational excellence through the implementation of technology and operational support models. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally savvy team builder to take on a key role in driving change within one of the world’s largest media groups.

In this role, you will draw upon your skills to successfully set up and manage processes, tools, and platforms that enable regional and local media planning and delivery teams to capture and report on full campaign management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy Omnicom toolsets and utilities to streamline operational workflow and client delivery (e.g. Omni Campaign, Planit and Media Ops Hub (MOH))
  • Manage the usage and adoption of Omni Campaign for end-to-end campaign workflow
  • Engage with OMG Product teams to raise and remediate identified tool issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with Omni expeditors, confirming cross-department Omni edification, engagement, and utilization of Omni Apps (e.g. Campaign Workflow)
  • Collaborate with Media Planning, Investment, Activation and operational teams on process and communication for campaign launches
  • Identify business needs and drive design and implementation of process, tools, and technology to meet those needs, inclusive of leveraging a global workforce (delivery hub)
  • Implementation and optimization of governance processes
  • Engage Media Planning and Investment team members to assess media data and actively remediate identified issues
  • Support data quality assessments that feed into executive-level governance reports, particularly related to campaign launch, taxonomy and other quality indicators

Expected Outcomes

  • All agency and client team members have access to the tools and technology necessary to perform their jobs
  • Media plan data of OMG’s accounts are captured in a timely and accurate manner
  • OMG account consistently implements the defined process
  • OMG account benefits from tools that facilitate execution of the process
  • Critical data quality KPIs are captured across OMG account and delivered weekly

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience at a large media agency
  • Knowledge of agency media operations processes from briefing to final delivery
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of formulas, functions and visualizations (charts, graphs, etc.)
  • Prior experience leveraging productivity/project management tools a plus (e.g. Smartsheet, Asana, AirTable)
  • A proven track record of leading complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Digital marketing background possessing a strong understanding of ad tech and media booking, billing and delivery platforms
  • A knack for creating structure where none exists, balanced with real-world pragmatism
  • Ability to balance process and structure with flexibility and speed
  • Ability to collaborate with peers across regions and disciplines
  • Problem solver, not afraid to prompt collaboration
  • Adept at thinking in terms of systems but also mindful of the human side of work process
  • Comfortable developing technical and project documentation as well as team presentations
  • Comfortable with navigating large agency networks and client organizations
  • 2+ years experience media planning and/or investment or other media role

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$80,000—$85,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
