The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students nationwide with online Digital Media tutors. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

What We Offer

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; you can earn up to $40/hour with same-student progression.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

• Get matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.

• We handle the logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions, and payments are processed by us.

Responsibilities

• Provide online, 1-on-1 or on-demand tutoring for Digital Media topics through the Varsity Tutors platform.
• Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Communicate clearly and engage students with a friendly teaching style.
• Match with students and deliver effective tutoring sessions using the Live Learning Platform.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Digital Media and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.
