About The Role
We are looking for a solution driven candidate who would describe themselves as analytical, collaborative and highly organized. The Sales Planning team works in a deadline driven environment and focuses on pricing integrity, media plan strategy and campaign delivery, with opportunities for upskilling and leadership training. By joining our global Sales Planning organization you will be part of a diverse team working across advertising campaigns.
You Will
- Work with the advertising sales team on client briefs/RFPs by providing proposal ideas and inventory solutions that meet client expectations and objectives while maintaining pricing integrity and package strategy
- Build a solid understanding of Dow Jones digital product offerings and operational capabilities
- Collaborate with manager and sector support teams to utilize historical data and market research/demand to pitch solution-driven ideas and strategic media distribution
- Produce and reserve digital campaigns in order management systems leveraging required yield tools (note: does not include creation of client presentations)
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to launch campaigns in a timely manner and work on campaign optimizations to meet or exceed client goals and maintain revenue
You Have
- Proven experience working with a digital planning or advertising operations team
- Experience using one or more digital ad serving and/or order management system (e.g., GAM, Operative.One) preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated
- Strong computer applications skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Ideally educated to degree level
- 2-4 Years of Experience
