Overview
Youth Director/ Multimedia Specialist role at The Salvation Army Southern California. Location: North West Valley Corps. Status: FTE, 40 hours/week, Flex schedule in support of program dates and times.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Salvation Army or evangelical church programs.
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Time management skills; able to work independently.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work and conduct business in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Pro Presenter.
- Ability to pass TSA Fleet Safety e-learning module.
- Must pass a MVR check with a clean driving record; ability to drive Salvation Army vehicles (7, 14, or 25 passenger).
- CDL license or ability to obtain one.
- Compliance with all aspects of the Protect the Mission program, including annual assessment.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of Salvation Army doctrine and provide competent instruction.
- Learn and support programs associated with The Salvation Army Church.
- Manage multimedia programs for the Corps, including weekly input of ProPresenter for Sunday Service and live stream.
- Assign and train volunteers to operate sound, Facebook Live, and related tech during services.
- Plan and execute annual Vacation Bible School.
- Recruit and supervise volunteers to lead youth programs; meet with youth volunteers quarterly.
- Hold monthly youth meetings with Corps program staff; manage supplies and organization of troop materials.
- Track troop participants, award badges, and report monthly to DHQ.
- Oversee TSA Summer Camp Program, handle registrations, parent communications, deposits, and transportation logistics ensuring PTM compliance.
- Attend DHQ events at Camp as leader and chaperone.
- Coordinate with kitchen crew for snacks and meals as needed.
- Provide pick-up and drop-off for children as necessary.
- Develop quality Christian youth programs including worship and Bible studies; plan outreach opportunities for youth and families.
- Participate in community events and assist with planning and execution of youth-related projects.
- Maintain and report statistics monthly for all youth programs.
- Ability to work in other Corps areas when required; assist with Kettles and/or Christmas Angel programs as appropriate.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Corps Officers.
