The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Music tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

The Varsity Tutors platform offers base contract rates starting at $18/hour and higher rates for specialized subjects, with potential increases for recurring sessions with the same student (up to $40/hour). Get paid up to twice per week, and manage your own hours while tutoring remotely using our Live Learning Platform. You’ll be matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise, and you can rely on our AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support and engagement features.

We handle the logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions and we take care of payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Music and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
