Overview
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eighth Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, seeks a part-time music teacher for grades K-2 for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities
- Offer excellent instruction in elementary music skills, developing students' artistic gifts and guiding them to a fuller appreciation of beauty.
- Nurture the sanctity of students, forming them intellectually, spiritually, and morally within the Catholic tradition.
- Work closely with grade-level teams and upper-level music teachers.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree.
- Hold or be willing to work toward certification; eligible for certification in Virginia.
- Strong elementary instructional experiences.
