Music Therapist - Hospice (Part Time) role at Brighton Hospice.

This is achieved by allocating resources to increase staff-to-patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits and lowering clinician caseloads. Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care.
• Perform assessments, evaluations, and establish a plan and goals.
• Deliver music therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
• Report on client response to treatment and any changes in condition.
• Document services delivered using electronic methods on the day of service.
• Attend team conferences as requested and participate in Performance Improvement activities as requested.
• Work effectively with verbal and non-verbal clients with a range of disabilities.
• Connect with families and staff in various outreach settings.
• Demonstrate ability to improvise in a clinical setting.
• Maintain MT-BC (Music Therapist Board Certified) credentials.

Qualifications

• Currently Music Therapist Board Certified (MT-BC).
• One year of music therapy experience.
• Completed Music Therapy Degree Requirements.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, have a valid driver’s license and required vehicle insurance.
