Bach to Rock: America’s Music School is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to work with young children in Early Childhood Classes.

Location: Indianapolis, IN. Compensation ranges from $17.00/hr to $24.00/hr and is based on education, experience, and availability.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead B2R’s early childhood classes (Rock n Roll, Rock City, and/or Kids n Keys)
• Prepare for and deliver instruction using the Bach to Rock detailed lesson plans and activities
• Create a warm and welcoming class environment in which young children can feel safe
• Use the curriculum recommendations to educate and engage caregivers who attend class with their toddlers
• May be asked to assist at B2R events

Requirements

• Background in education or the arts (theater, art, music, etc.)
• Comfortable in an active and noisy setting
• Understanding of basic music concepts and ability to communicate in an age-appropriate manner
• Ability to interact effectively with both children and adults
• Ability to play a musical instrument at a basic level
