Music Business Management Client Account Executive

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with future growth opportunities. We encourage employees to establish long-term careers with FBMM and promote from within.

Key responsibilities include:

• Effective and appropriate communication with clients, client reps, and client employees
• Supervise team/staff and coordinate with Business Manager to provide support where needed
• Aid in team training and workflow organization; set performance goals and deadlines; monitor productivity and growth against benchmarks
• Develop management/leadership skills to maximize team engagement and reduce turnover
• Accounts payable/receivable review and approval
• Prepare budgets with cash projections, financial reports, and supplemental schedules
• Contribute to client meetings and meeting material preparation
• Review, analyze, and reconcile hard ticket settlement tracking
• Oversee merchandising statements tracking, analysis, and reconciliation
• Completion of individual and corporate tax projections
• Identify and proactively manage foreign touring, insurance, and tax mitigation issues
• Assist with day-to-day legwork for client real estate transactions, renovations, auto and other large purchases (business and personal)
• Research unique client issues and report to the Business Manager with accurate communication
• Insurance renewal preparation, maintenance, and analysis with approvals; monitor additions/deletions of equipment, real estate, or other property
• Review and summarize various contracts
• Royalty statement analysis

Important skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years' experience in the entertainment industry as an Account Executive/Manager or in a relevant role within a business management firm
• Minimum of 4 college semesters of accounting, including tax accounting
• Good judgment in professional conduct at industry events and professionalism when representing the company
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain recurring tasks with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/Excel and Adobe PDF
• Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced environment
