Overview

Integrated Marketing Consultant (Sales)/On-Air Talent role at Alpha Media USA in Fairfield, Iowa. We are seeking a vibrant individual who thrives on results in sales and on-air talent. Training is provided to master on-air broadcasting and board operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our audience. You will work in radio and digital marketing, forging strong relationships with clients and showcasing Alpha Media's local brands. You will craft omnichannel marketing plans that span across radio and digital channels and help build partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Sell radio and digital advertising.
• Uncover and close new, non-radio advertisers using plans that include local spot and/or digital/non-spot revenue areas.
• Understand digital marketing including mobile and programmatic digital advertising.
• Use company initiatives and tools to maximize results.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
• Negotiate direct and agency business.
• Input client orders and copy using company-provided software.
• Attain monthly, quarterly, and annual local NTR digital budget goals.
• Engage with listeners via social media, contests, and at events.
• Broadcast live or appear from remote locations and events.
• Introduce programs and music.
• Read commercial copy and public service announcements as assigned with Promotions and Sales departments.
• Assist in special promotions and programming activities.
• Write and report the news.
• Operate on-air console and audio controls.
• Board operate for live on-air games.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of sales experience.
• A proven track record of delivering strong and consistent sales growth while exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking with passion for Alpha Media’s platform and value proposition.
• Fully insured personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to execute station events and remotes.
• Relate to the audience with strong listener interaction.
• Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with listeners and clients in public settings.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience building strategic presentations and presenting to clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Prior broadcast industry experience.
