What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Photography and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online Photography tutoring sessions via the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Use available tools to deliver engaging and effective instruction.

Compensation and How You Get Paid

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• You invoice for your tutoring sessions; we handle payments.
