Host: Ethereum Podcast at Blockworks. This is a full-time role focused on hosting and producing Blockworks’ tentpole Ethereum-focused podcast.

Who You Are

You are a crypto enthusiast and podcast connoisseur who can break down complex blockchain concepts into compelling narratives. You intimately know the Ethereum network and follow crypto news and narratives that impact the Eth community. You are a natural connector who can engage with technical founders, researchers, and thought leaders to drive thoughtful conversations. You are comfortable on mic and on camera, and you pride yourself on neutrality while driving meaningful technical discussions.

What You’ll Do

• Host the Podcast: plan, script, host, and record two episodes per week.
• Develop Podcast Content: design topics and themes for the series and episodes using latest crypto and macro news.
• Identify, Source, and Secure Guests: find guests with potential to create exceptional stories.
• Contribute to Newsletters: write contributions for the newsletter in collaboration with editorial.
• Drive Social Engagement: use personal and professional channels to grow the audience with quality content.
• Partner with Sales: collaborate with the sales team to explore sponsorship opportunities and strengthen sponsor relationships.
• Understand Audience: work with the production team to understand core audience segments and derive insights for content evolution.
• Build Brand Presence IRL: represent the show at events, listener meet-ups, hackathons, and conferences.

What You’ve Done Before

• You’re crypto-native with deep understanding of blockchain architecture, particularly Ethereum.
• Experience hosting or producing crypto content (podcasts, webinars, blogs, etc.) and sharing work samples.
• Experience interviewing technical experts and driving substantive discussions.
• Ability to discern compelling stories and grow an audience.

Nice If You’ve Done This

• Deep understanding of blockchain scaling, with a creative approach to discussions.
• Published technical analysis or research in blockchain space.
• Experience with live broadcasting or real-time technical discussions.
• Built relationships within the blockchain infrastructure community.
• Prior experience in technical podcast hosting or production.

This is a full-time exempt position with an expected salary of $110,000/year.
