Role for Fusion Solutions, LLC focusing on radio frequency planning optimization in telecommunications environments.

Lead technical activities for multiple projects (five or more) with oversight of work and clear communication with team, project manager, and customer in large-scale environments (major metropolitan area or statewide).
Tune and optimize LTE and 5G on Ericsson RAN; perform event analysis, drive test data interpretation, and address accessibility, retainability, and handover success rate issues.
Make recommendations on parameter changes and feature activations based on drive test data to improve system performance.
Analyze drive data and performance statistics; solve complex issues; understand the impact of additional carrier additions on the network (including 5G) and inter-vendor borders.
Understand Layer 3 messaging for 4G/5G; optimize relationships between handovers and network capacity; optimize uplink tuning.
Operate and interpret optimization tools (Ericsson ENM, Actix, Agilent, R&S) and have detailed knowledge of KPIs with recommendations to improve them.
Coordinate activities with Ericsson departments, divisions, and customer expectations; communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum ten (10) years’ experience with BSEE/BSCS or applicable experience.
Recent and extensive LTE and 5G tuning/optimization on Ericsson OEM RAN is required.
Leadership experience on five+ projects; two projects as lead for all technical activities in large-scale settings with demonstrated excellence in communication.
Experience with 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, and 4G LTE; Nokia RAN experience is desirable but not required.
Understanding of Layer 3 messages for 4G/5G; ability to collect/analyze drive data and solve complex issues.
Knowledge of optimization tools (Actix, Agilent, R&S) and a detailed understanding of KPIs and how to improve them.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and manage expectations with customers.
