Overview

Hybrid available for individuals in the Tulsa, OK geographic area. In-office 3 days, work from home 2 days. 100% Remote available for individuals in the following states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, MD, MA, MN, NE, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, & WA

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user needs and technical requirements into designs that are visually appealing, easy to use, and engaging for our users.
• Gather requirements from users and stakeholders and utilize them to create information architecture, personas, journey maps, user workflows, wireframes, visual prototypes and interaction concepts.
• Review and guide the work of less senior team members, document UX/UI Standards and expand the design system library.
• Take ownership of the user experience and user interface design for web and mobile applications.
• Understand product specifications and user psychology to define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
• Apply the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features.
• Professionally communicate design ideas and prototypes to our customers, developers, designers, and our program management team.
• Remain actively informed of industry trends.
• Thinking globally from a product development perspective to expand Five Pack’s design efforts.
• Build a collaborative, design-focused culture amongst our design team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role. Strong portfolio in design projects is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Background in leadership, management, mentorship, project management or research is preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.

• Competitive pay - The anticipated starting salary for individuals expressing interest in this position is $60 an hour. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels, as well as market and business considerations. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
