Overview
Senior UI Developer role at Infosys. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; contribute to high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module; lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
Infosys is seeking a Senior UI Developer with a focus on delivering robust UI solutions using modern frontend technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to UI development for web/mobile/desktop applications in an AWS target environment.
- Design and implement UI using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to elicit requirements and translate them into technical designs and code.
- Deliver high quality code, participate in testing, validation, and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
- Mentor and guide an UI development team (commonly 6-8 members) as part of project delivery.
Qualifications
- Location: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or willing to relocate prior to onboarding.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education may be considered.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading an application UI team for AWS target environments (Web/Mobile/Desktop).
- Experience with ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and cross-browser compatible code; strong UI design and coding skills with ReactJS.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project lifecycles on development & maintenance projects, estimation methodologies, quality processes.
- Ability to communicate understanding of AJAX and API integration.
- Experience creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Adherence to coding standards and best practices; ability to meet user requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to plan, define and develop proofs of concept.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
