Job Title: Market Research Strategist (UX)
Contract Duration: 6 month contract

  • The End-to-End Relationship Research team utilizes a flexible insight-generation model that combines a range of micro- to macro- research with operational data to guide critical business decisions and strategy.
  • 2024 was a year of immense growth in scale, audience reach, and business impact. 2025 will feature continued aggressive evolution as our data and insights are more broadly socialized and utilized across the organization.
Areas we focus on:
This exciting role has 2 focus areas.
  • The chief responsibility is to support the build of our maturing market research programs.
  • Our primary need is to develop our Journey Survey Program.
  • While the foundation of the program has been largely built, we are primed to conduct higher-tier analytics and aggressively drive the utility value and actionability of the program.
  • This includes analyzing retention drivers, identifying root cause problems along key journeys, and examining the needs of our key consumer segments.
  • This role will also support our more developed programs, including our Independent Agent research and our 3rd party competitive intelligence.
  • The second focus area for this role will feature a more consultative skillset. Our team manages a vast pool of data (1M+ survey respondents every year across our programs, and emerging advanced analytics to better assess unstructured data).
  • This role will support our research Directors, collaborating with research partners and stakeholders to answer business questions - the goal is to use disparate data and insights from our many programs to find specific answers to complex business problems.
  • This role will also be responsible for proactive socialization of insights and industry observations to the broader organization.
  • A big focus area for the E2E team is "don't just tell me what's wrong - tell me how to solve it".
  • This role will be at the front lines of accomplishing this mission.
We are looking for someone with proficiency in the following areas:
Advanced Analytics & Innovation

• Knowledge of data sources, tools, and common statistical principles (predictive modeling and segmentation a plus).
• Experience with statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, R, Displayr, MarketSight.
• Comfort testing into and utilizing AI software to gain efficiency and depth.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or Master's degree and 2-3 years of related experience.
Strategic Impact & Evangelism
• Demonstrated ability to interpret results and make recommendations for action.
• Experience building compelling reports and clearly communicating with / presenting to leadership.
• Strong partnership skills, with an eagerness to share victories and tout others' contributions and successes to a shared outcome.
• Eagerness and ability to internalize industry expertise and business context necessary to be an effective strategic partner for our business partners.
• Experience working in P&C Insurance and/or market research suppliers a plus.
