Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead UX design within the Lending and Credit Product Management team, contributing to a new end-to-end digital lending experience used by thousands of customers.
  • Reimagine how SVB can optimize the credit product experience for clients and the lending portfolio management experience for associates, working within platform complexities and regulatory constraints.
  • Deliver UX/UI designs by prototyping, conducting user research and validation, developing frameworks across multiple product pods, and facilitating discovery workshops with users and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, Content Strategists and UX Researchers to create high-quality UX deliverables that support end-to-end user experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in product design OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience (prefer 8-10 years designing digital product experiences in an agile environment).
  • Experience designing digital products in the financial services industry.
  • Portfolio demonstrating deep UI/UX understanding (flows, journey maps, service blueprints, prototypes, user research).
  • Experience delivering on multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma for low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for partnering with developers and product partners.
  • Experience designing omni-channel experiences (desktop and mobile).
  • Familiarity with web technologies and cross-device considerations.
  • Experience with discovery and user research methodologies (benchmarking, usability testing, personas, interviews).
  • Experience with design systems and style guides; familiarity with B2B design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to facilitate workshops and align stakeholders with roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to adjust storytelling of design decisions to various leadership levels.
  • Experience mentoring designers and evangelizing design within an organization.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and with nCino.
