Overview

COOLSOFT is seeking candidates for a contract position listed through Dice. Interview process will be IN PERSON in Madison, WI. Duration of the contract is 6/30/2026 with potential for extension. Remote work from within Wisconsin is allowed; the contractor must be online during DWD standard working hours (7:45 am – 4:30 pm Central Time) and attend all scheduled meetings. DWD prefers the selected hire reside in the greater Madison area and may require onsite work at DWD Madison WI headquarters (GCF-1) at DWD’s request without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking.

Responsibilities

• Development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance. Project work includes application design and development, new development, and modifications to existing code.
• Design, creation, and maintenance of web services and system integration; web development following Agile Scrum methodology.
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis.

Qualifications

• Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer III capabilities with 5+ years of experience in .NET Core.
