Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students nationwide for online Thesis Writing tutoring. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Pay

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn higher pay for each session with the same student, up to $40/hour.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and improve teaching impact.
• We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions, and we process payments.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Thesis Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Preference given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
