Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online PSAT Writing Skills tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform.
• Reception and handling of tutoring sessions with individual students (1-on-1 online tutoring and on-demand sessions).
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Support student learning using the platform’s features and resources; participate in AI-assisted tools to enhance prep and delivery.

Compensation and Logistics

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions invoiced.
• We handle invoicing and payments; you focus on tutoring.

Qualifications and What We Look For

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
