The Architectural Design Consultant is responsible for developing relationships with potential clients, including the market of all Lerch Bates disciplines, and managing the entire project cycle from request for proposal to billing and payment of services. What You’ll Do
Utilize your strong understanding of design and construction in the elevator industry to provide guidance and design expertise to clients. Learn about Lerch Bates’ service offerings and market all aspects of the markets to drive sales. Provide an outstanding customer experience to all clients for the entire project lifecycle. Build a network of current and potential clients. Manage multiple projects to completion and prioritize tasks to ensure the most efficient management of projects. Complete market and industry research to stay on top of the markets and the newest developments. Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Field Technicians, and Consultants in other Lerch Bates’ disciplines to ensure the best experience for our clients. Manage the project cycle from request for proposal, writing of reports and proposals, ensuring timely completion of projects, to billing for payment of services. What You’ll Bring
At least 5 years of elevator industry or design and construction experience; 10+ years preferred An ability to perform mathematical calculations frequently used in our industry A college degree (strongly preferred) Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Office products and other software systems Strong technical writing and report development skills Why Work With Lerch Bates
