What You'll Do
Build scalable editorial systems—style guides, taxonomies, workflows, and vendor programs—to raise quality and speed across internal and external content teams. Lead written, visual, and AI editorial strategies, initiatives, and operations, aligning with design, product, and platform teams. Guide vendor editors and authors with training, intake workflows, and structured review processes. Ensure help content, experiences, templates, and components drive increased customer success with discoverability, readability, accessibility, and AI retrievability. Provide on-page and in-app feedback that elevates structure, visuals, and information design. Collaborate with UX and design teams on new content patterns and microcopy for in-app components that support user success. Translate metrics, feedback, SEO, behavioral, and AI signals into actionable improvements and programs that create more valuable and effective help experiences. Invest in strategies, initiatives and programs that increase our ability to create quality content on the first draft, with consistency and confidence. Partner with AI/ML teams on RAG pipelines, embeddings, and clarity/structure rubrics for LLM readiness. Pilot and implement editorial tools like alt-text generation, grammar support, clarity assessments, etc., alongside new tools or technologies. Collaborate with product partners, marketing, content strategists, and visual designers to ensure effective content across multiple user touchpoints. What You Need To Succeed
8–12 years in editorial, content strategy, or writing roles in tech/enterprise software. Expertise in editorial governance and on-page/in-app content strategy at scale. Strong developmental editing skills with a focus on structure, clarity, and user empathy. Familiarity with LLM/AI tools, generative search, or chatbot optimization. Background in UX writing or knowledge management. Comfort with RAG, embeddings, and tuning for LLMs. Experience shaping video, visuals, or multimedia Help content. Strong cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills. Compensation and Notices
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $89,200 -- $203,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
