Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop or scan dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment
- Document patient treatment plans and progress in dental software systems: Dentrix

Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Alaska
- Proficiency in using dental software systems: Dentrix
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
