The Role

We are seeking a talented UI Angular Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing responsive, user-friendly web application interfaces using Angular framework. You will collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver scalable and high-quality digital solutions.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95K-$100K/year & benefits (see below).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive, user-centric web applications using Angular.js (Angular 2+).
  • Convert UI/UX designs wireframes and prototypes into functional, efficient Angular components.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and other services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular developments, tools, and best practices.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications and application workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience developing web applications with Angular.
  • Demonstrable portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing Angular projects.
  • Proven experience in front-end development with Angular (2+).
  • Hands-on experience with Angular CLI, RxJS, NgRx (state management), and related Angular libraries.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, npm, and Gulp.
  • Ability to write unit tests using Jasmine, Karma, or other testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred, but not required

  • Experience with Angular Material or other UI component libraries.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and deployment processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
