We are seeking a skilled and experienced Implementation Manager to oversee the implementation of our AV projects.
Position Summary:
The Implementation Lead for Audio Visual (AV) Operations will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of AV projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing adherence to project timelines, overseeing installation teams, and ensuring that all AV systems are installed and configured to meet client requirements and engineering design.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Team Lead:
- Coordinate with clients while on site to ensure a smooth project deployment during the implementation phase.
- Plan and execute AV Implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the implementation team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure readiness for AV installations.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to enhance productivity and efficiency to leadership.
- Coordinate with logistics for any supported installations to ensure availability of any tools or equipment necessary for completion of the installation ahead of time.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with the assigned PM and clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation process, escalating to the lead engineer or PM when necessary.
- Assist PM with documenting progress and preparing final commissioning reports
- Oversee installation teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications set forth by the customer and the engineer.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. (CTS-I)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes and outcomes, lessons learned, and post completion reports to leadership.
- Ensure firmware updates are complete for all system components
- Configure IP addresses for networked devices
- Test full functionality of the AV system and connections to external devices
- Adjust audio, video, and control system settings for optimal performance
- Work closely with the system programmer for full system operation through the timeframe of a supported project.
- Provide customer training on the system's operation and serve as a technical liaison
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues promptly when required.
- Travel to client locations as required to oversee on-site AV implementations.
- Work on-site to ensure projects are executed according to specifications and client expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, AV Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV project management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing AV project implementations.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create detailed project plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
