Associate Creative Director (Social) at Orca Pacific: A Monks Company

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director who will support Creative Directors with creative direction, organize the narrative around ideas, and supervise teams across multiple projects. The ACD is a leader within their group, guiding creative work from concept to completion while collaborating with strategic, brand, and production partners.

Responsibilities

• Concepts: Work with the Creative Director to develop concepts and directions for campaigns, executions, and positionings. Create comps, ad lobs, and prototypes as needed to illustrate ideas to the team and management.
• Managing Projects: Oversee multiple projects, manage creative teams, adhere to timelines, supervise direction, and ensure deadlines are met. Act as quality control by reviewing and editing the team’s work before client or agency review.
• Client Presentations: Help craft the initial story around how an idea is sold to clients and create presentation decks for review with teams and managers.
• Staying Curious: Stay up-to-date on trends and social media developments to guide the team. Demonstrate broad curiosity about platforms, culture, and technologies to support creative goals.

Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in a creative field with experience leading teams, managing projects, and coordinating production.
• Portfolio demonstrating social-first concepts and campaigns; deep understanding of social platforms.
• Ability to design with motion skills; proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Live event experience; strong creative point of view and the ability to translate ideas into decks and presentations.
• Strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional partners, and ability to guide diverse teams.
• Thorough, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Salary range: $120,000 – $147,000 USD
