Echo Mountain Ski and Event Center, LLC, Idaho Springs, CO, US, 80452
Job Description
Video Editor & Content Creator Specialist Echo Mountain Ski & Events Center – 19285 HWY 103, Idaho Springs, CO
Do you love snow, stories, and screen time? Echo Mountain is looking for a hardworking, creative teammate to help us show the world just how fun, quirky, and awesome our little mountain is! We’re on the hunt for a Video Editor & Content Creator Specialist who can spin daily adventures into engaging, high-energy content that keeps skiers, riders, and tubers stoked all season long.
This is an on-site role (sorry, remote friends—this one requires mountain vibes in person). It’s a full-time seasonal position, with a chance to keep the good times rolling part-time through summer events.
Why You’ll Love It
As our go-to content creator, you’ll get a front-row seat to all the action—from carved turns to après-tunes—and help share the Echo Mountain story with the world. Your creative spark will fuel our brand, drive growth, and keep our community connected and excited.
What You’ll Do
· Capture and edit videos that make people wish they were here (and then actually come here).
· Polish up photos until they shine like fresh corduroy on a bluebird day.
· Dream up and design thumb-stopping ads, posts, and stories.
· Collaborate with our crew to share the daily magic of Echo—events, snow updates, and mountain moments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Edit and produce snappy short-form videos weekly that capture the stoke of fast carves, bluebird days, and après vibes—perfect for ads, socials, and the web.
· Capture lifestyle shots and product photos that bring the mountain energy to life, from hot laps to hot cocoa.
· Create static and video ads that don’t just look cool but perform like a freshly tuned snowboard.
· Design bold, eye-catching graphics for social posts, mountain events, and collabs that feel as fun as a powder day.
· Work hand-in-hand with our crew—to get content out fast, even on tight timelines.
· Turn our brand identity into a consistent, high-quality visual vibe across every format (as clean as a freshly groomed run).
· Stay ahead of the curve by tracking trends in social-first content, fashion, and outdoor rec—and translate them into fresh takes for the snow world.
· Responding daily to social media messaging.
· Reply to client questions on voice and email.
· Klaviyo email campaigns.
Ideal Candidate
You’re a natural storyteller with a camera in hand and creativity on your mind. Fast-paced projects don’t rattle you—they energize you. You can juggle multiple edits at once, experiment with new styles like you’re testing fresh gear, and deliver content that feels polished, vibrant, and full of life.
Required Skills:
· Proven chops in video editing and photo retouching—you make mountain moments shine brighter than a bluebird day.
· Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop are your terrain park—you know every trick and line.
· Handy with Illustrator and/or InDesign, rounding out your creative quiver.
· A sharp sense of visual hierarchy, storytelling, and branding—because every great run tells a story.
· Comfortable working with content briefs, shot lists, and brand guidelines (you can ride the line while still adding your own flair).
· Cool under pressure—you handle tight deadlines like a pro navigating moguls.
· Detail-obsessed—your edits are as crisp as freshly groomed corduroy.
· Ability to work outside in the mountain environment! Hoorah for the mountains!
Additional Plus Skills
· Skills in animation or motion design to make content move and groove.
· Experience in e-commerce, fashion, or performance marketing—you know what catches eyes and drives clicks.
· Photography and video chops (shooting, lighting, audio) to capture moments as crisp as fresh corduroy.
· Klaviyo email campaigns.
What You Bring to the Crew
· An organized, steady hand for balancing quick-turn tasks with bigger creative projects.
· The flexibility to fly solo and the vibe to click with a close-knit team.
· Strong communication—you take feedback like a pro and contribute fresh, thoughtful ideas.
· A true passion for creating content that’s bold, dynamic, and built to perform.
