In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in‑office workdays.

About The Role

Imagine software that feels timeless, crafted with care and accessible to a wide audience. Notion seeks a Product Designer with innate product & UX sense, technical aptitude, great taste, and impeccable craft to tackle fascinating challenges.

What You’ll Achieve

• Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business potential.
• Craft every detail of new product features, from idea to UX to pixel‑perfect execution.
• Run projects end to end with engineers to drive your vision to the ship line.
• Partner closely with Customer Experience, Sales, and Customer Success to understand diverse user needs and help prioritize and scope the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Marketing to tell stories across the user lifecycle and channels.
• Create new patterns that are intuitive and practical; evolve the design system as we scale.

Skills You’ll Need To Bring

• 5+ years of experience running projects independently end to end.
• Ability to understand customer needs and advocate for strong user experiences.
• Strong intuition for accessible mental models and flows so users gain value quickly.
• Clear, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces.
• Balance between craft, speed, and business practicality; consider stakeholders and business needs.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and openness to feedback.
• Ability to tell stories with words and visuals and align teams around a shared vision.
• Experience working with PM, engineering, research, data, and design peers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing and building tools with small teams.
• Diverse perspectives and a collaborative mindset to complement the team.
• Interest in fixing fragmentation and information silos through design.
• Familiarity with computing pioneers and the broader design/tech history.
• Ability to design and code.

Notion is committed to competitive compensation and benefits. For roles in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range is $105,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on location, scope, and experience.
