General Function
The Store Manager is an on-the-floor leader who performs store functions while guiding and role-modeling for the team. Coaches, develops and inspires the team so that everyone delivers The Sunglass Hut Experience as ambassadors for the brand.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilizes The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives
- Drives sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals
- Leads by example through coaching, development, mentoring and inspiration to enhance store performance
- Fosters a development-focused environment to grow careers, encourage teamwork and retain talent
- Recruits, hires to staffing needs, and trains using onboarding tools as part of The Sunglass Hut Experience
- Inspires team growth through individual development plans
- Creates an inspirational environment reflecting the brand’s integrity
- Builds an emotional connection within the team to drive sales and deliver The Sunglass Hut Experience
- Coaches and develops the team to ensure consistent execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience
- Develops customer relationships through interaction and feedback
- Acts as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand
- Executes brand standards to strengthen the Sunglass Hut brand
- Stays knowledgeable about products and fashion trends
- Ensures impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures while maintaining brand standards
- Communicates promotions, contests, and incentives to the team
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in store operations
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to use critical thinking to ensure absolute execution of store operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service and/or retail experience
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
