Due to the retirement of the current Director, Roddenbery Memorial Library (RML) is seeking a new Director for Grady County.
About the Library
RML is a single county library system located in southwest Georgia serving a population of approximately 26,000. There is one library facility located in downtown Cairo known as the “Hospitality City”. RML is a member of PINES, Georgia’s statewide lending consortium, GALILEO, Georgia’s virtual library network, and GADD, a large consortium for the purchase of ebooks.

Position details
For this salaried, full-time position, the salary range is $75,809 – $83,028. In addition, benefits include State Health Insurance, Teacher Retirement System of Georgia, and annual and sick leave. The Director reports to a 7-member Board of Trustees and leads a team of 9 staff members. The annual budget is approximately $635,000 with funding from Grady County Board of Commissioners, City of Cairo, Grady County Board of Education and state of Georgia through the Georgia Public Library Service.
