About the Role
CharterUP is seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to lead marketing analytics and ensure campaigns deliver measurable ROI. This role is heavily focused on marketing analytics with light support for website content. You will own marketing data integrity, reporting, and insights, influencing spend allocation, channel optimization, and our marketing technology stack. You will track performance and provide strategic recommendations for the CMO and channel leads to optimize campaigns for growth.
As the in-house GA4 and Google Tag Manager expert, you will ensure accurate tracking, reliable attribution, and reporting that provides leadership with clear decision-making insights.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Analytics (85%)
- Serve as the GA4 expert within the marketing team — owning tracking, reporting, troubleshooting, and attribution across all domains.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and Salesforce Data Cloud to track KPIs and provide channel-level insights.
- Analyze spend efficiency and ROI across SEO, SEM, email, display, and lifecycle campaigns; advise where to invest or reduce spend.
- Identify performance trends, optimization opportunities, and funnel bottlenecks to measure impact, not just activity.
- Maintain data quality and attribution accuracy across GA4, GTM, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews with the CMO and channel leads that tie marketing activity to business results.
- Manage integrations and automated workflows using Zapier and related martech tools to ensure seamless data flow.
Website & Content (15%)
- Update and publish content on the CharterUP WordPress site under the Web Marketing Manager’s direction, including campaign pages.
- Support front-end updates (basic HTML/CSS) and SEO best practices to improve usability and performance.
- Ensure content updates are tagged and tracked in GA4 and GTM to maintain funnel visibility.
- Assist with A/B test setup, implementation, and performance monitoring.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
- Proven ability to influence leadership with data-driven ROI recommendations.
- Expertise in GA4 (advanced configuration, troubleshooting, multi-domain setup).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Looker Studio and Tableau
- Salesforce Data Cloud
- WordPress content management and basic HTML/CSS
- Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and visualization
- Strong understanding of marketing funnel metrics, attribution, and channel optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to translate data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 USD
