Position Summary
We’re seeking a Senior Media Lead to oversee media strategy, planning, and buying across our portfolio of clients. This is a senior client-facing role, responsible for guiding integrated media strategies (digital + traditional) and ensuring execution excellence across channels. You’ll collaborate closely with search, analytics, and creative teams to deliver campaigns that are not just efficient, but also innovative.

Key Responsibilities
- Media Strategy: Develop holistic media strategies that align with client business objectives and integrate seamlessly with creative and search efforts.
- Campaign Oversight: Lead planning, buying, and optimization across paid digital channels (social, display, programmatic, video, OTT, audio, etc.), and guide traditional media where relevant.
- Client Leadership: Act as the primary media advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing insight-driven recommendations and thought leadership.
- Budget Management: Oversee large, multi-channel budgets with accountability for ROI, efficiency, and pacing.
- Performance & Optimization: Partner with analytics and search teams to continuously refine campaigns using data-driven insights.
- Innovation: Stay on top of media trends, platform innovations, and emerging opportunities—proactively introducing new ideas to clients.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with creative, search, and analytics to ensure campaigns are cohesive, innovative, and measurable.
- Leadership: Mentor junior media planners/buyers, providing guidance, training, and career development.
- Agency Growth: Contribute to new business pitches and help define the future of the agency’s media offering.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of media planning and buying experience (agency background strongly preferred).
- Proven success managing integrated media strategies across paid social, display, video, programmatic, and traditional channels.
- Strong relationships with media vendors and platforms; ability to negotiate effectively.
- Deep understanding of media measurement, attribution, and performance analysis.
- Skilled in using tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, and other DSPs; familiarity with Nielsen, Comscore, or other traditional media tools a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills — comfortable advising senior client stakeholders.
- Leadership experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing agency environment.
