The Social Media Manager works every day to make sure this mission is brought to life where people love to connect – social media. They are the brand’s go-to “community” builder, overseeing interactions, analyzing engagement data, and planning digital campaigns, that nurture and grow our thriving group of activated Consultants and Customers.

Above all else, the Social Media Manager develops and implements social strategy. It’s all about reaching the right audience at the right time across all touchpoints. They are responsible for the development and maintenance of digital content that attracts attention, informs, generates interest, and is easily shared and engaged with. This position is part of the LifeVantage Experience Marketing Team and will be located in our Lehi, UT office with great flexible work options. Work may require some travel, and occasional nights and weekends on the job.

Responsibilities

As part of your day-to-day, you will:

  • Manage social media content and implementation
  • Produce content calendars
  • Use social media listening tools and consumer feedback to fine-tune strategy and craft on-trend, on-brand social posts and videos
  • Produce social media content including captions, graphics, stories, etc.
  • Partner with creative, media, and content teams on additional social and digital content
  • Partner with international marketing teams to ensure brand social is consistent across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate on SEO strategy and tactics
  • Determine appropriateness and timing of content based on company climate, campaign objectives and performance goals
  • Ensure messaging is consistent throughout all social channels to eliminate messaging gaps
  • Lead essential and time-critical social media activities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (others may be assigned):

  • Form our company’s overall social media marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a social media and digital marketing plan to support the company’s strategic priorities, drive growth and build brand loyalty
  • Track performance of various digital marketing initiatives, making necessary changes to improve business results
  • Proactively identify, implement, and/or grow new strategies and social channels to reach targeted audiences
  • Assist in brand solutions and effective social media marketing implementation
  • In collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, manage, track, analyze and refine SEO keywords
  • Create consistent and compelling digital messaging, demonstrate ROI, set metrics and develop global visions
  • Analyze user engagement metrics to optimize content based on SEO strategies

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager, digital media specialist, or digital marketing manager
  • Ability to analyze content performance and adjust strategies and tactics based on data
  • Proven ability to spot trends and improve engagement
  • Excellent writing skills in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Strong media and content creation and editing skills (Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or other media editing software)
  • Collaborate across teams/departments
  • Experience optimizing content/media according to SEO standards
  • Solid foundation with MS Office and WordPress
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of consumer journeys
  • Empathy for network marketing Consultants
