Are you a social media powerhouse who thrives on creativity, innovation, and making an impact? Clays is on an exhilarating journey, expanding across the UK and internationally, and we’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s voice and presence on a global stage.

You’ll own our social strategy, craft engaging campaigns that excite and convert, and collaborate with teams across the business to ensure our digital presence matches the energy and innovation of Clays.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategy aligned with Clays brand objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
- Plan and deliver the social content calendar, ensuring alignment with wider marketing campaigns, promotions, PR, and industry trends.
- Lead influencer programmes from strategy through to activation, building strong relationships and delivering measurable impact.
- Collaborating with the paid media agency to shape and optimise paid social campaigns.
- Proactively curating user-generated content (UGC) to build brand authenticity and drive customer acquisition.
- Managing and optimising social media budgets to maximise impact.
- Deliver KPIs and report on performance, providing strategic insights to inform future campaigns, adapting strategies to improve performance.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager to contribute to Clays' wider marketing strategy.
- Approve creative content produced by content creators, influencers and designers.
- Represent social media strategy in cross-functional marketing and department meetings.
- Staying on top of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices to ensure Clays remains innovative and engaging online.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years experience in a social media leadership role (hospitality, lifestyle, or entertainment industries desirable).
- Proven ability to develop and implement high-impact campaigns and social strategies.
- Strong understanding of paid media advertising and influencer marketing.
- Experience managing budgets and cross-channel campaigns.
- Creative flair, with the ability to craft compelling visuals, videos, and written content tailored to different platforms.
- Demonstrated confidence and self-assurance in decision-making and communication.
- Strong ability to experiment with new ideas, approaches, and tools to drive innovation.
- Openness to push boundaries and challenge the status quo in pursuit of growth.
- Brings energy, creativity, and a sense of fun to team culture and work environment.
- Experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
