The Multimedia Producer at BigIron is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content—both digital and print—that supports marketing, sales, and brand initiatives. This creative role drives engagement through compelling photography and videography that bring BigIron’s auction listings, seller stories, and brand mission to life. Whether it’s highlighting a rare collector tractor, producing a sizzle reel of an auction event, or designing promotional assets, the Multimedia Producer ensures BigIron’s content reflects its values of trust, transparency, and connection to America’s agricultural and industrial communities.

Responsibilities

  • Content Capture: Photograph and film equipment, real estate, auction events, and customer interactions. Conduct field shoots at seller locations, ensuring professional quality and brand alignment.
  • Post-Production: Edit video content for use across platforms (web, social media, YouTube, etc.), including adding motion graphics, music, and voiceovers when needed. Process and retouch photos for clarity, consistency, and brand aesthetics.
  • Digital & Print Asset Development: Create promotional materials for equipment sales, real estate listings, and special campaigns. Prepare content for use in email marketing, digital display advertising, and printed publications.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the marketing team to align multimedia content with campaign goals and auction schedules. Partner with sales and field reps to capture testimonials, seller profiles, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Content Management: Organize and archive multimedia assets in a digital asset management system for future use. Tag and catalog visual content for searchability and cross-functional access.
  • Platform Publishing: Assist in posting media to platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and BigIron.com. Optimize media formats and sizing based on platform specifications and best practices.
  • Innovation & Storytelling: Develop creative storytelling strategies to showcase equipment, customer stories, or BigIron’s mission in action. Propose new media ideas that enhance BigIron’s presence in an evolving digital marketplace.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a multimedia, video production, or content creation role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign). Skilled in DSLR/mirrorless photography and videography, aerial videography, including lighting and audio capture. Familiarity with social media content specs and publishing tools.
  • Creative Abilities: Strong eye for visual storytelling and composition. Ability to craft narratives through video, photography, and design in a way that connects with BigIron’s core audience.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines. Strong file organization and media archiving discipline. Independence & Teamwork: Comfortable working autonomously in the field or collaborating with a team on strategic campaigns. Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to travel for field shoots and adapt to a variety of filming conditions (farms, auctions, rural properties, etc.).
  • Industry Familiarity: Experience in agricultural, industrial, or rural settings is a plus—but not required. A passion for the stories behind the machines and the people who use them is key.
