Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead media/influencer relations and develop staff to build the same.
• Leverage social media channels to engage and support efforts.
• Maintain ongoing media engagement for the agency (e.g., blog Q&A, lunch talks).
• Measure the ROI of communications activities.
• Engage with social media influencers and manage content campaigns and coverage amplification.
• Manage PR programs from kickoff through goal achievement.
• Set aggressive but achievable goals based on news generation and ongoing coverage.
• Deliver exceptional client management and maintain a high level of client success.
• Navigate periods of change or challenge with clarity and confidence.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for clients; develop budgets and allocate team priorities.
• Lead media training sessions with clients and develop key messages and follow-up.
• Generate and edit materials such as press releases, fact sheets, bios, briefing books, pitches, Q&As, and related items; oversee their production and assembly.
• Communicate professionally and timely with clients; craft consistent, creative pitches.
• Maintain two direct reports, help develop their goals, and conduct Reviews and quarterly check-ins.
• Participate in new business efforts, identify targets, conduct research, and contribute to pitches.
• Attend networking events and foster a respectful, enthusiastic, and professional team culture.
• Support teams and manage up and down; follow flexible work policies.
• Write for Highwire blog and contribute to agency channels.
• Mentor junior staff to support development.
