Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students for online instruction. You can set your own schedule and work remotely using our platform.

Compensation

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You can earn higher pay for each session with the same student, up to $40/hour.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Use AI-powered Tutor Copilot in sessions to aid instruction, generate lessons, and boost engagement.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments.
• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring and on-demand tutoring when available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in LSAT Argumentative Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
