Product Management Producer
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CA
Duration: 12 months; potential to extend
Pay: ~94/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)
The Planet Group is looking for an Product Management Producer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract, working a hybrid schedule from their Culver City, CA.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Design, Business, and Engineering teams to organize and guide projects that improve the TV app customer experience
- Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams on the strategic planning of features and launch of TV programs
- Uphold and help inform process, workflow, and standards for the Product Management teams, including operationalization of go-to-market activities in the lead-up to launch
- Play a central role in preparing product demos, executive reviews, and presentations
- Work across Product teams to make experiences more consistent, seamless, and magical for customers
- Run a tight ship and juggle numerous competing priorities and switching contexts — all while advocating for exceptional user experience and ensuring that the end product is delivered on time and meeting stakeholder expectations
- Take the initiative to ensure the job gets done
- Lead end-to-end project management
- Plan and lead ideation and creative workshopping sessions
- Drive and update progress on key projects, including setting milestones and delivering on deadlines
- Organize weekly team meetings and communicate updates
- Coordinate and maintain product documentation and roadmap
- Manage large cross-functional project meetings and reviews, including across timezones
- Track and report on project milestones and scope changes
- Facilitate creation of Product artifacts including keynotes and documentation for meetings, briefings, and launch
- Continuously optimize workflow and communication in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5+ years as Producer, Project Manager, or Program Manager in tech, or working on digital entertainment products
- Background in user experience, product management, or creative operations — operations for Product teams is a plus
- Aptitude for grasping complex concepts and shifting between conversations at varying altitudes
- Strategic intuition that helps to foster synergies among our teams and develop cross-product connections
- Ability to operate on differing project timelines and evolve project plan to meet specific needs
- Deep familiarity with entertainment products and digital services including an ability to learn new technology quickly
- Understanding of the relationship between hardware, software, and services to create amazing customer experiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to read a room and foster deep relationships across the company, in order to facilitate complex discussions and handle difficult situations with diplomacy
- Objective approach to problem solving in order to drive alignment in a debate-driven culture
- Outstanding oral and written communication, including experience presenting to a variety of audiences
- Top-notch organization and prioritization skills
- Outstanding program management skills and strong creative intuition
